Underbelly was Jamie’s first photographic “project” and aimed to expose the concrete foundations that places considered natural are often built upon in the UK. Human interference is displayed, moulding what we willingly perceive as nature. Furthermore these artificial creations have been documented in a way that only enhances the harsh, unnatural, industrial truth that lies beneath our pretty parks.
